Oktoberfest Ride

Mornings suck, it takes a cup of coffee and a few miles before I am awake, and the thought of food 2 hours away didn't help much.

Flat tires suck.
Here we are 10 to 15 miles into the ride and you would think we were miles from town.
This is what you look like after you pull around 20 people for 50 miles at 19mph average.
Sandra our fearless leader.
Waiting for food.
The nice thing about riding to the Bass Lake Draft House is the parking is right up front. Our table was o the other side of the fence.
After some food and beer it was time for the ride home. It was a long 10 miles.

Halloween 100

This is home base for the halloween 100, it all started around 8:30am and I didn't get back home untill around 5:30pm. This may seem like a short day but I was awake at 4:30am.

I would say that he is my competition but I like this guy he dose good work.
The calm before the storm. There were about 700 people out for this ride.

Just before the start people started overtaking the tent I was under that made working a little difficult.

This is what it looks like after everybody hits the road for the ride.

This is Wendy she is with a group called Girls in Gear it is also her first 100 mile ride.
This is the rest stop I stayed at after I drove most of the route. This is around mile 50 for the metric 100 and mile 78 for the full 100 miles.
Artistic shot of the van at the rest stop............unintended but it works
